My new motto:

"If you're getting used, at least you're getting something."

Calling friends out on the shitty things they do to you really isn't worth it in the long run. It's better to feel like shit than to have friends that think you're a bitch. It's better to act like you're just chill with everything, because while you're miserable inside, at least your friends think you're pleasant. Either way, you'll be miserable. Plus, if you don't confront your friends about anything, there's always the slight chance that one day in the distant future they'll realize all of their wrongs, how terribly awful they've been, and how they can't believe your unlimited grace in putting up with all their years of bullshit. Forgive me, they will say. Of course, you will respond. Because you have just been fucking VINDICATED! It will be glorious.

...or they will just continue to think that they do no wrong, will continue to exclude you, will continue to simplify and ignore your problems, will continue to blow you off for friends that increase their social prowess. Cooler friends. More outgoing friends. More attractive friends. Thinner friends. Yeah, I went there.
